Production Manager | Part Time | Lancaster, PA

We’re looking for a production manager to join us! This job is for someone who wants to be fully immersed in all aspects of a leather goods brand, and can handle juggling multiple projects at once.

 

As a production manager you would be in charge of making sure everything runs smoothly, from the second the leather comes in to the shipment of customer orders and everything in between. This involves inventory, cutting leather, packing shipments, tagging, and the opportunity to travel and do trade shows, and much more! 

My studio is based out of my home in Lancaster, PA currently. This means you'll get to see my adorable dog Frankie and my daughter. This also means we will be drinking lots of iced coffee, and most likely jamming out to a great playlist. 

 

Tasks:

-Material inventory. Keeping track of zippers, hardware and leather and reordering shipments.

-Handbag inventory and shipping online orders.

-Cutting, tracing, and embossing leather

-Assisting on photo shoots, trade shows, and travel opportunities as needed

-Tagging, packaging, and quality control on finished products.

 

Qualifications:

-Experience with retail or sales 

-Must be able to use Excel/Numbers, create documents, and send emails on a Mac. (You do not need your own computer)

-Sewing machine skills are a plus, but not a requirement. If you do know how to sew, please specify in your application!

-Able to work from Lancaster, PA.
